Awramba Times (Addis Ababa) – Abdi Mohamoud Omar, President of the Ethiopian Somali Region, dismissed the claims of his political opponents that the president and his delegation were kicked out of Tasmania State in Australia following strong protests.
Ethiopian high level delegation that consists of presidents of Ethiopian Somali, Tigray and Oromia regional states had recently visited Australia to promote Ethiopia’s overall investment opportunities to members of the Ethiopian diaspora community. However, some opposition media outlets based in the diaspora claimed that members of the delegation were forced to leave Tasmania after they faced strong protests.
