Ethiopian and China are keen to work on peace and stability.
President Dr. Mulatu Teshome received the 15-member Chinese delegation led by General Fan Changlong, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Committee (CMC) of China, at the National Palace here yesterday.
On the occasion, it was remarked that the bilateral relations between the two countries is based on mutual interest and understanding and strategic economic partnership that spun people-to-people, business-to-business and party-to-party relations.
The President said that China’s partnership is important in fostering the national vision of becoming a middle income economy, while General Fan Changlong was heard as saying there is a huge interest to work with Ethiopia for the growth and benefit of both countries.
The two sides also talked on ways of working together to promote peace and stability which is important to sustain economic growth. They also exchanged views on areas of cooperation and further deepening the countries’ bilateral relations.
