Abeba April 13, 2011 - 1:17 am

No matter, who is leading we Ethiopian ( the worst let say a Devil) we should be there for any constructive projects he proposed, At least for the sake of our land which have been eroded for thousands of years, for the sake of those who are starving , for the sake of Ethiopian farmers praying to let rain while the Egyptian farmer is in confort ( a relative comfort) ….. But only if we love Ethiopia and have positive mentality.

I think this people luck information, I also do badly hate Melese and his politics in Ethiopia ,I am 25 partly Eritrean and partly Ethiopian (Amhara) and raised in Ethiopia and love Ethiopia . How can one shout for Egypt which is enemy of Ethiopia since hundreds years ago?

I was crying while I read a news about my people shouting against the dam construction instead calling the name Egypt. It has nothing to do with melese it is our country project don´t you know that I, you and meles will die at most after few decades ( considering average human life span and neglecting accident) but the sustainable construction will stay life time.

Ok let me ask you, Let say one of our historic leader say Minlik or Tewodros or whomever, that our grand parent or parent might hate, but you as a generation of this time don’t you be proud if Nile would have already been utilized for irrigation and energy source etc????????….

God please develop my peoples positive thinking skill and Let Ethiopia go blessssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!

who interrupted it? if it is interrupted by the so called opposition members it is not surprising because they do not know how to oppose and when to oppose. of course what they did, might have been welcomed by Egyptians but never by the true Ethiopians. better to name these individuals “traditional individuals living in the civilized nation” because they have not been able to adapt themselves with modernization. if they were civilized and democrat ones they could have attend the meeting and ask EPRDF delegates challenging questions.

Well, Abeba has got a point, even if we maynot agree with the political views of the leadership in most cases, It’s modernization to challenge and workout in peace with the leadership than challenge the projects that are going for the benefit of our people whether planned for that purpose or not. There is far better things to do and involve in the growth of our country than fight with each other like the past. The whole world knows us in starving, sickness & poorness, it’s high time we change that figure focusing on our common things and opportunities than differences. I wonder who leads Ethiopia if given opportunity right now as we saw all parties are incapable even to lead their group and more even the country as we saw recently, leading a country needs serious development through time as leading an organization or family in small scale is not easy. Let God bring solution to that, till then , pls concentrate on working towards changing the lives of our children & future generation as we live short after this!!!

It is really unbelivable that Ethiopians’ are fighting and disturbing the Ethiopian development. this is the main issue wich differs specially the anti-development groups from other countries opposition groups. What ever the idea is good or bad just oppose it!!!!!!!!!! Which is wonderful to all ETHIOPIANS. Could you please become concious and think what you are doing. You don’t want to see light city in Ethiopia, but we Ethiopians will give our blood for our development, we are the once which are facing problems not those of you Specially opposing to the Abay Gidib.
I am shamed off this stuppid groups want to oppose the Millenium Dum

bekele April 20, 2011 - 3:44 pm

the opposition group who are fighting for the sake of other countries could not be Ethiopians. How do you know a normal man is to filter ideas to oppose or support otherwise a person who is living for opposition is not a man rather Asama……………………..
