  1. 1. Journalists without Borders are about to be introduced to the concept of borders where lagalities are mere frivolities
    2. charges on the reporters: i’ve heard that this Haileyesus guy is incredibly guilty of violating journalism ethics. so, why ask for his release when we should be wondering why he got arrested all of the sudden…when he’s the only guy permitted to interview the PM and he’s been flossing that on other journalists and has been supportive of the govt and its wrongdoings…should i care just because one more journalist got arrested? no. not all ethiopian journalists matter. just those who stand for truth and fairness from the beginning.
    3. the two journalists in question have been “arrested by members of the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission on 26 April, producer Worku and reporter Mohammed are alleged to have stolen and sold national television programmes to the international TV station Al Jazeera” are THEY FOR REAL or is this a HILARIOUS bullshit just like Teddy’s case? i say, wendata. good job and i hope they made $ from it although this “sale” is highly unlikely. I wish they make the effort to sound a bit credible when they pick these lies/charges. lool
there are many journalists for whom we should advocate so there has to be a damn good reason why we should care about the welfare and rights of this guy.

  2. and may i add how incredibly silly it is to petition to the same guy who hacked journalist rights? unless this is a clever idea of creating paper trail to show how they’ve democratically tried to change the law and the lawmaker failed them lool
