Ethiopia’s inflation eases to 13.4 pct y/y in January |

ADDIS ABABA, Feb 8 (Reuters) – Ethiopia’s year-on-year inflation rate edged down to 13.4 percent in January, the statistics agency said on its website.

The Central Statistics Agency said food inflation was at 18 percent in January, versus 17.4 percent in the previous month.

Non-food inflation was at 8.4 percent, compared with 9.4 percent in December, the agency said in a statement.
