Ethiopian Gebrselassie Tsegaye won Belgrade Marathon

BELGRADE, Serbia — Gebrselassie Tsegaye of Ethiopia won the 24th Belgrade Marathon on Sunday, ending five years of dominance by Kenyans.
Tsegaye covered the 26.2 miles in 2 hours, 14 minutes, 41 seconds. Michael Rutto Chetoo from Kenya was second in 2:18:33 and
Tadele Geremew Mulugeta of Ethiopia third in 2:19:26.
Frashiah Nyambura Waithaka of Kenya won the women’s race in 2:34:31.
Meseret Debele was second, ahead of fellow Ethiopian Mulu Seboka.
