* Kenya says will sign as soon as possible * Egypt says agreement lacks legitimacy By Elias Biryabarema ENTEBBE, Uganda, May 14 (Reuters) – Four east African countries signed a new deal creating a permanent commission to manage the River Nile’s waters on Friday, putting them on a collision course with Egypt and Sudan.
River Nile basin states have today signed an agreement on the Nile river basin cooperative framework in which they agreed to collectively work towards conserving river Nile and equitably using it’s water.
